LinkedInX

Full Definition

The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) requires health plans and health insurance issuers to report annually to the Departments of Labor, HHS, and Treasury on prescription drug and healthcare spending. The RxDC (Prescription Drug Data Collection) report includes data on plan enrollment, premiums, medical and pharmacy claims, and the top 50 most costly drugs. Self-funded employers must coordinate with their TPA and PBM to compile and submit the report.
