Methodology
The State of Employer Benefits 2027 report will draw on multiple independent data sources: DOL Form 5500 filings (2024–2026), HCCI Employer-Sponsored Insurance Database, RAND Employer Health Benefits Survey, KFF Employer Health Benefits Survey, SIIA Self-Insurance Market Data, and EBIQ proprietary benchmark data from the EBIQ Benchmarks database. All data will be independently verified and sourced. No vendor data will be used without independent corroboration.
