Data Sources & Methodology
This benchmark library aggregates data from the most widely cited employer health benefits surveys in the United States. All figures represent 2026 plan year data or the most recent available survey year projected to 2026 using published trend rates.
Percentile ranges (25th–75th) reflect the distribution of employer-reported values across survey respondents. The median (50th percentile) is the most commonly referenced comparison point. Size-band breakdowns are available for most metrics.
